The Kelith-class is equipped with the latest-generation point defense system, with far greater angular coverage than  earlier designs.

Kelith-class Corvette

The maneuverable but relatively well-defended Kelith-class Corvette is one of the older Aethi designs still in service. It utilizes an overcharging gravitic engine system to catch up with, overtake, and outmaneuver slower vessels, and employs beam arrays and guided missiles to destroy targets. The Kelith has recently been upgraded to use gravitationally-mounted point defense orb turrets, giving it greater protection against enemy missile fire.

MINING, TRANSPORT AND UTILITY VESSELS

While relatively small, the Kaier-Verien's salvage dish is calibrated for maximum efficiency, and uses a dual-frequency extractor ray to tear through asteroids and harvest minerals at high speed.

Light Mining Vessel

The 'little sister' of the larger Velkaaras-class Mining Vessel, the venerable Kaier-Verien hull is a compact and economical but still highly-effective mining platform. The ship is highly maneuverable, and equipped with moderate weapons and defensive subsystems, adequate to counter small raiding vessels that may attempt to attack it and obtain its precious cargo.
